Faculty & Research

Research at the Amsterdam School of Economics (ASE) covers economics, econometrics and actuarial science. ASE currently has 4 research sections. Members of these sections operate in several research programmes and teach in our Bachelor's and Master's programmes. The excellence of our faculty members is reflected by prestigious grants awarded like Veni, Vidi and ERC, and their publications in high impact journals.
Research programmes
Research takes place through our 8 research programmes, next to a number of affiliated research centres and institutes. The aim of the research programmes is to enhance attention to and appreciation for fundamental economic research.
